hello and question - AR

Hello, ford truck community. Mine is a 65 half-ton, dark blue with a six that my Dad used to own. Nothing fancy, just a straight old truck that I tinker with. I've read the forum alot in the past, but just now joined, because I wanted to ask a question.

I hate to be forward, but I was wondering if anyone knew the wiring color code for tail-lights for a 2004 taurus. I need to put a 4-wire trailer light to the car, but there is no kit made for it. It must be hard -wired.

The 65 blue beast is simple to work on because there's no computer, no fuel injection...I mean if the lights don't work, either the bulb is burned out or the battery's dead.

So, can anyone help me out with the car wiring? Thanks.

Hello, it`s great to hear about the 65 F100 that your dad passed on to you, it`s a sweet and simple fun vehicle.
While there isn`t a forum for Ford cars you can try posting in the Electrical Systems/Wiring forum: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum62/ or the Towing, Trailers And 5th Wheels: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum68/
Also swing by your local AR chapter: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum80/
