Does anybody know if the 08 F550 fender flares will fit on a 2000 F550? I havent been able to find any aftermarket that look like the OEM style. Im guessing their available from Ford but just checking if anybody done it yet?

I do know that you can order them for the 99-07 f550 trucks. they even have the little bumper piece too.

 

'08s have a different fender opening than '99-'07, so no they won't fit.

 

The 05-07 ones will fit.

 

Yeah, but can you afford them? FTEparts guy lists them at $428.00 PER SIDE!!! I KNOW!!! I really like the look but not that much. Barney

 

Wow! $400+?? I dont like them that much either. I did a goggle search and saw a guy say they were $97 each? I'll call my dealer today.

 

HUMMMM, thats a complete kit. All four wheel openings. Primed. Paint to match.

They are obsolete but there are a few dealers that still show to have a kit in stock. so if you really wanted a kit. I could get one for you.

That sounds like a great price for all 4, especially with the bumper pieces. I thought it was only for the front fenders though as I know of 0 F-550's with a fleetside bed.

Yes I would be looking for the front set only. Plus bumper peices I guess. This is for a 2000 F550 bus chassis.

 

i don't think that picture shows the right set. That looks more like the 250/350 fender flares. the 550's are a cab/chassis only. I had to get some custom pieces from an aftermarket upfitter to put a regular pickup bed on mine. The 550 flares are bigger than the 250-350 ones and yes there are some pieces that bolt to the front bumper. Barney

 

550's don't have rear moldings!

 

whoops,I know that, I'll explain. The only way that you can get front mdlg now from Ford is to buy this kit, it also fits F350 and the pic is the only one that comes up in catalog. At one time you were able to get the front mdlg's by themself, they even came in different colors, but all of the mdlg were obsoleted and replaced by this kit.

That I think should clear it up.

also I have seen at least 4 F550's that had a bed put on it. so it could happen :-) lol
