79 SC Long bed Question
Guys I have a 79 F250 Super Cab Long bed with a fair amount of rust and today found a long bed off of a 78 F150 standard cab in near perfect condition and though they look really close I don't want to drop $250 it it won't bolt up. thanks for your input.

thanks guys, I will pick it up on tue and the beauty is that I am going from 1 tank to two and he is throwing in the midship tank with the bed. Woohooo

wow good buy i just went to a junk yard and they wanted 750 for just the bed no tailgate and no compartment on the passenger side!! it also had a little surface rust on the wheel wells.

the beds you have to worry about are 73-77.5 F250 4x4s(highboys) and 2wd crew cabs. Those will have a different bolt pattern. 73-76? beds in general bring the suck, they have a lower inlet, the fuel seems to not want to go in easily, and will leak out alot easier.
