Trans decode please?
C4AP 7A04
Any use at all?
Manual or auto?
Case material, integral bell?
Speeds?
Any and all numbers/letters in the casting.
Pan shape and number of bolts if automatic.
Side load or top load if manual......
Heck, I don't know...
C4__ would mean 1964. C4A- would mean 1964, full size car line. The P at the end doesn't appear in the decode info available here at the top of the small block engine forum.

So if they are iron case, no bell, side-loaded, side shifted, 4 speeds, look for anything that says BW or BorgWarner and maybe it's a T10. (But then, would a BW box have any Ford casting number on it?)
Or maybe the Dangenham (sp? I know that's wrong) 4 speed used in Falcons behind 6 over here.
If they are iron case, no bell, top-loaded, side shifted, 4 speeds, and it's Ford, maybe they are Ford top loader fourspeeds.
