Yes this is our first, and it was brutal. The epidural didn't work, the lydacaine didn't work, the spinal block didn't work, and after 4 hours of labor they finally decided to put her out and do a c-section. I couldn't have gone through all that that's for sure.

With my first son, the wife was in labor for 13 hours, she dang near broke my hand and i bet if she could get up, she could have broken more LOL.
