not that i have found but i am looking at doing a 70 crew onto a late 80s early 90s frame. i know that the F250/350 frames are the same distant apart and have the same wheel base (or is very close) i would say go look at them and take a lot of mesurments.
none or very unlikely that the body mounts will be in the right location. also with an 87 you will have fuel injection, and the 87 cab might have a lot of electronics in it that need to be put into the 72 cab. i am planing on using a diesel so that i dont have this issue.

Don, The mount points changed in 80, but I suspect not a lot.
If you pull your cab and front clip in one piece you wont have to realign everything going back.
It will make a nice winter project if you have a heated space to work in.
