Can someone advise me about installing brake dust guards -- those "plates" that go inside the wheel? My 2003 expy puts out a lot of black dust, covering the beautiful wheels. Would installing these devices help. What are the downsides? Does it adversely effect brake cooling? Where does all the dirt go? Will it harm the brakes or any components? Thank you for any advice.
You might be better off getting a different kind of brake pads and putting them on, they are cheap.
