buy some aftermarket actuators off fleabay (i.e. Item number: 360100177216 ) and install them in series with the factory ones.
this is the easiest thing to do and works well. I did this 3 years ago and my locks are still very strong. I put the aftermarket ones in a location that is easy to get to in case I ever need to replace one in the future.

Just had my rear ones replaced under warrantee. I think the invoice said they were $45 bones a-piece. Thats at Ford. They work fine now, so am assuming thats the fix, new actuators. I didn't do the work, so no help in replacement. Hope this helps some.
