I have a 1987 ford ranger STX and I can fit 31/10.50/15 on it right now stock and I still have enough room to fit 33's on it, I have a summit 3in body lift, 2in add-a-leaf kit, and 2in coil spring spacers on the way from summit racing. I was wondering if you think I can fit 35's or 36's on it when I get done putting the stuff on?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Jun-02 AT 03:22 AM (EST)]I have seen 35's on a '95 Ranger before. If I remember correctly, it had a total of 8 inches of lift. If I were you, I'd cut the fenders too. The tires were BFG's; a good all-around tire. If you want a mud-specific tire, go with a swamper, but not thornbirds. I'm guessing you've got a Six, but don't have a clue what your gearing is. Remember, you've got to be able to spin a big mud tire, or it's not worth it to you.
