Chapter 7?
Hate to ask this question but IF GM, Ford, or Chrysler were to conclude their operations via a liquidation (chapter 7) WHAT would happen to their massive unit inventories? GM alone has 800K+. I understand some dealers actually own their fleet as opposed to financing it via operations like GMAC of Ford Credit , so they could sell them for whatever price they could get, but how about those units GM, Ford, Chrysler in essence still own? Who would be the creditors/owners and what price would they eventually sell these vehicles for? $.40, $.50, $.60 cents on the dollar?????
