back in 85

Ok back in 1985 a f150 ext. cab is it the same as a 1985 supercab or is there a difference because some say the ext. cab is the supercab and others say no what do yall think?

only difference i saw in the 2 versions was the super cab has that piece of plastic that goes over the window to make it look like a split window. Other then that the 2 are the same.

Essentially they mean the same thing, it's same ordeal people have when referring to a posi, limited slip, or traction lok rear end. Several different words that mean the same thing but were just coined by different automakers.
