Relearning is when setting the pressure, some vehicles learn when driven above 20 MPH others have a button.
Training is when you move the sensors around and have to train the SJB / Module where the sensor is located.
Retrain... Relearn... It does not really matter as the sensors do not have the capability of changing the programming of the ICM which is where the pressures that the system is looking for are stored/programmed to.
I decided to live with the light and lower the pressure down to the 50psi that the tire calls for. I lowered all four from 75psi to 55psi and the light never came on. I've been driving for 2 days now and nothing. I'm afraid to go any lower and I just might leave it as is. I didn't re-learn anything or reset anything - just let the air out!
90% of the issues I have had with any vehicle owned over the last 10 years has somehow been related to some type of government regulation imposed on the manufacture and forced on me at purchase. TPM, DPF,EGR,Chome Clad, freon, etc. etc. I would pay twice the price for a new truck built to old requirements. Where is John Galt?
Up until now, I was not aware my 08 F250 had an TPMS. I have had this truck for almost three years and have not had any indication that it has one, much less a warning. I had the tires replaced about two years ago and I never heard my tire guy tell me he reset the TPMS. My question is, DOES the '08-'10 SD's come with TPMS? If so, where is the module located, and how is it reset? This will come in handy, since I pull a travel trailer with my truck.
