Turbo problems!! need help
hey guys, i have a 2006 f250 6.0l powerstroke. recently i had to replace the silicone tube that comes out of the turbo because it kept poping off from oil. now i know the 6.0 liter has a recirculating oil system that sometimes dumps excess oil into the turbo, am i right? well anyways i have some oil comming out of my turbo that enters my intercooler. i still have turbo pressure and the truck is runnning fine. this doesnt mean a blow turbo right? i hope not. maybe its because i have a lttle too much oil in the engine. i know theres a tube thet connects from the valve cover to the intake tube. when i looked at the tube that connects to the intake it had oil on it. so is it coming from there and passing through the trubo or what?

How many miles on your truck? Chances are what you are seeing is oil residue from crankcase ventilation, (tube from valve cover to air intake) also known as blow by. usually a turbo with bad bearings and seals will consume oil and lack boost.

Go into the tech folder and do the CCV ReRoute. I beleive that BD Diesel sells a kit as well. If you do this mod it will eliminate most if not all of the oil in the I/C and prevent the CAC tubes from blowing off
