Ok, I had ordered an edge and a violant CAI, well some how my order got cancaled and my stuff didn't come in. So I told them to just forget it. Now I think this is a blessing in decise.
I am changing my plan now I am getting a Gryphon and I think now I am going to get an airaid jr.( I like the idea of keeping the stock air box, and not have to mess with the mass air flow senser)
I am still decideing on the exhast issue which will problem swap the stock muffler for a magnaflow.
What I understand is that the airraid jr and a muffler swap doesn't need the canned tunes adjusted.
Here is what I know I want. I want a custom tune for proformance that will run on 87 octane
I do tow with the truck, so I will need a tow tone as well, my queston is with these mild mods or if it was stock would the can tune be ok or would I bennifit with the custom? Or simply put does a custom tune give you anything other then adjustment for mods?
For my 3rd tune I was thinking of mobey a 93 preformance tune agin should I go custom or canned?
For you guys running custom tunes tell me what the 3 of them are.
I have contacted Bill we have been emailing back and forth, I have alot of questions and wanted your guys opion on this subject.
Ok the way I understade is even with a totally stock truck I am still better with the custom tunes because they are set for my truck and not a canned f150, right?
With that in mind I think I am going to get the deal thay are running now by 2 tunes get one free since I need 2 tunes anyway
I need a 87 preformance tune and a 87 towing tune, so what should I get for the third?
Talked to both Bill and Corey via email today, great ,great people, got all my questions anwsered. and I took advange of their holiday sale, got the tuner and 3 custom tunes for $459 shiped. geting a 87 proformance and an 87 tow and saveing the last one for now can't wait to get it.
