Fuel additives for the PSD

Diesel Kleen is cheap, readily available, does a great job.
But if you really want to clean things out, run about 2 tanks of B100 mixed with some normal Diesel, then run normal diesel with some diesel kleen thereafter. You will definately have to change your fuel filter after the second tank of mixed B100, but your injectors will thank you by running better, smoother, and quieter. Repeat every oil change.
Coming up on 213,000 miles, my trucks power and fuel economy was starting to suffer even with my SCT tuner and other mods. I had replaced the hpop, fuel pump, and most of the related sensors, so I finally faced the fact that after 8 years (9/29/00 engine) my engine probably needed new injectors.
Before I decided to spend the money, I decided to talk to Chris at Lubrication Specialties to see if Hot Shot Secret could fix my injectors. A conversation and week later, I changed my oil, filled up, put the additives in and kept my fingers crossed.
Two tankfuls later, my truck really starts to come alive. One morning it was about 35 degrees out and normally when I start my truck in that kind of weather, it lopes a few times and then settles to high idle. When it started, it didn't lope once! My truck wasn't even plugged in either!!! It's like I just bought my truck again, starts are easier, it even idles quieter and smoother.
Around town and especially on the freeway acceleration is better and my fuel economy and power are slowly but surely recovering. You'll spend about $80 total for the fuel and oil additive, and shipping. But it's better than spending $2000 on a new set of injectors.
On a side note: I'm taking a roadtrip up to Dallas this afternoon, can't wait to see how well it does!!!!!

Hope I answered your question.....
