That one is off 70 by CR-539. There's a couple others we go to in the area as well. We often encounter 4wd truck and such, but typically only when it's dry. They go rather slow, lumbering over each bump. I jam my foot to the floor and hit 30-40mph over some of the nastiest bumps.

One night we were out in the SUS(black one), and hit a tree doing about 45. 5 people in the car, no abs, no airbags, and no one was hurt. The dark didn't help. We limped it back to the enterence with the fender cutting into the wheel and a state trooper pulled up. There were about 8 of us there, we came in 2 cars. He was like "wtf", and we said the tree jumped out of nowhere! We were about 1/2 mile from the shop. He said that any accident regardless of what happened, that had over $500 of damage, must be written up. He then proceeded to say "you just had some engine trouble right? That was pre-existing damage?" We all nodded our heads, and he said get your trailer and tow it back, couldn't let us drive it. We did so, and had that car fixed that night. Strait to the lift, saw-z-all, and cut it out. My buddy who works there does great work, I'm impressed with virtually everything he does.

Our path:

The funny part was it was a 2 man team that built the car, and the guy had just railed his partner earlier in the day for driving it under water, and getting the ignitor wet, so they had to replace it. He railed him hard too, and then 6 hours later hits a tree at 45. Good times!

Some other times, when we actually were stuck:

We ended up digging the wagon out and using it to pull the SUS out. I love my Excursion, but it wouldn't last out there.
