I have an F-100, but really need a Ranger. I want to get a '96 or higher (Suspension is better),and sell my F-100. Its an '82 F-100 and i found it sitting in a barn. It was there for about 15 years, but somehow still ran smoothly. I replaced the gas tank and gas/fuel lines. The paint is in ok condition and other than a hole in the console where he left his dip can to rot the dash its a good truck. How much should i consider selling it for? Or would it be worth a trade for a Ranger? Thx for the advice
Cody, you'd be better off trying to sell your own truck than trading.
I have an 81 F100, went to check out the incentives on a new Rangers the salesman told me the book prices only went back to 88 and told me the price for that truck was $ 400. so he'd only offer me $ 200. trade in value..
Employee pricing which I believe is $ 400. below invoice and the $2,000 rebate, it may be time to look at a new Ranger..
