Transmission Info!
I have a 88' Bronco II with a 2.9 and a Mistsubishi 5 speed transmission. Does anyone know where i can order a Transmission Pan Gasket for that thing? LMC doesn't have it in their catalog and every Auto Parts place i've called doesn't have it either. Don't want to order it from Ford cause most of the time they want 20 to a 100 times more for it than anyone else. IF they had one. Appreciate any help ya'll could give me!

I can see why you don't want to go to the dealer. NOT!
I bet 65% of the time the dealer is within a few bucks on allot of parts.
the aftermarket parts stores know most pepole call them first, and figure you will think well if it's $50 here its got to be $90 at the dealer.
just check first before you assume the dealer is higher, you might be happy you did.

I'm willing to bet you haven't checked Napa or Carquest either. Both of which SHOULD have this gasket in stock or be able to have it within 24 hours. If you have an auto value (usually in a hardware store) store then try them. We get all sorts of odd ball parts through the one close to my dad and they're usually good parts for not a lot of money.

Exception to the Rule?
Just going by previous experience. Needed Exhaust Manifold Bolts a few months ago. They were Metric Grade 8. Ford Dealership wanted $268.00 for them. Got them at a Fastener Distributorship...same Bolts, $13.26. Guess there are exceptions to the rule but it pays to shop around.

must have been a 460, they are priced very high.
