I change my oil and filter every 5,000 miles using Delo 15/40.

I change fuel filters every 10,000 miles to be safe.

10k on Amsoil and Amsoil filters. Oil reports every other change. So far so good. Reports say I can go longer I just don't push it. Besides, I do fuel filters then too. Good time to take a look at the truck all at once.

Exact same as Tazo. Delo 400 at about 5k and backed with Oil analysis every change. Oil analysis results have been flat as can be across every catagory since the second change.

quick ?. how long can oil go time wise before a change? reason i ask is last time i changed mine was in march and since then i have only put 2200 miles on it. i believe that is considered severe use possibly. everyones opinion is greatly appreciated. thanks.

15W40 dino every 5,000. I'm not picky about brand as long as it is properly rated.

5000 Miles on oil, Delo 5w40 syn
10000 Miles on fuel filters
When I was using Dino oil Motorcraft 15w40 in summer, 10w30 winter, it was being changed at 3500 miles because thats what the manual had for severe duty at the time. I.e winter idling ect, cold starts, cold running, summer pulling trailer. Now its all the same, 5w40 gets me great starts in winter, good pulling protection at 40 weight....multigrades. 5w40 syn Delo is rated CJ4. So way overkill on the oil.
I have never had a single issue with this truck so I am sticking to the routine. Today is oil and filters day and its -5 C (20 F) so it will be a cold job.
