I'm very envious. I haven't posted it but I have its weaker sister that I purchased 7-7-77 with about 26K on the clock. Its a true Mach (in the vin) but unfortunately its the 135 hp 302, C-4 & peg-leg 8". Hasn't run since about 85 & got extremely damaged in a tornado in 92. And that was after the sagging doors & leaky quarter windows took out most of the floors.
Congrats on keeping a beauty on the road.

That car there is my daily driver. 4wd 135hp of fury. I am running late this year on switching it over to the winter tires, I have been to busy.

thanks man.i appreciate it.
i just got her a few weeks ago down in Connecticut.while towing her back in the evening in a traffic jam,a couple along beside me,rolled the window down and the lady asks; what kind of car is that!?
i replied a 1968 thunderbird,and she screams: it's beautiful!
man what a cool feeling to be able to own and show off a cool piece of artwork/history.
i can't wait to drive it! she wont pass inspection with a leaky exhaust.i just hope we don't get any salted roads until after next week so i can drive her a few miles before i have to put her up for the winter.im hoping but if they plow and salt just once, there's no way man lol.i'll have to wait until spring.
this 47 year old car looks newer underneath than a brand new car that went through 1 winter.she's so solid.awesome!

That is an old pic, I actually got him some clear marker lights for the front last Christmas, and I might get him a SD grille this year.
Are the 08 mirrors a direct swap?
