I was just checking some messages and somebody sent me this. YouTube - 6.0 CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE
Sounds like good info for you guys running the Powerstroke engine! Mines the V10 gasser.
You would have to be pretty lame to run a 6.0l diesel that long to do that much damange. As soon as the head gasket starting leaking it would have started blowing coolant out of the degas bottle like crazy. This is a dead give away to get it fixed. Then if the oil cooler went it would fill up the cooling system with oil which also would show up in the degas bottle. Oil pressure being much greater than coolant pressure.
The guy in the video said it all, "the driver of this truck was an idiot"
That has nothing to do with a powerstroke, 6.0, 7.3 or any other diesel it can be the same thing with your V10, you should see what happens when some idiot runs a V10 gasser out of coolant, it's not pretty trust me.
It's good advice to anyone with a vehicle irregardless of engine or even manufacturer pay attention if it's going through coolant there is a reason, FIX IT.

My niece calls me up and says her car is smoking! White smoke!!!
I ask, Did it over heat? She says, No! She says it just didnt have any water!
