The vin tagging is fairly new. All it tells you is that the vehicle has been inan accident on such dates. It will not tell you how much damage was done or repair costs.
It may say that the vehicle was a write off or not. That I do not know at this time.
Preppy the Honda may of been written off for the hail damage. But they tend not have a structural inspections for that. Just mechanical. But I will say I have noticed of late they seem to be now asking both inspections for vehicles with hail damage or recovered theft vehicle.

Well we put it through a sgi safety, and sold it a few months after we got it. It was just a turn around vehicle to make a few bucks off of, and we made 3grand or so from that one.
