bleeding brakes
Another couple places I wont mention my help was that the people told me to literally "bench" bleed it on the truck that it is the same thing as doing it on the bench. So I figured there was no difference based on what more than one person said "bench" bleeding on the truck.
Mislead information kinda sucks lol, but its not a big deal to take the MC off. Good thing you can set me straight haha
So if the dumb master cylinder needs to be tilted forward or sideways...
then back the whole dangged pickup up a hill or something. LOL :)
But anyway...
Since after bleeding the brakes (the wrong way;) the pickup will eventually
get backed up a hill at some point, the trapped air will get let loose and so
maybe that's the reason for others saying bench bleeding ain't necessary?
My youngest son showed me this one, bleed them by yourself...
-keep the master cylinder full, watch it under the open hood
-slip a good fitting hose over the farthest bleeder screw, open only that one
-place the end of that hose down into a jar with a little bit of clean fluid in it
-pump the brake slow and easy
-when the brake fluid runs clean and no bubbles in the jar...
-close that one and go onto the next one
As easy as that.

ps- don't forget to back up a hill and pump the brakes at some point? LOL :)
