help - rough running v-10
99 250 with a v-10 auto 190K. The truck is great but always had a tendency to eat coils and exhaust studs. Now, primarily on the highway in Od (and just cruising, light on the throttle) the truck stumbles, like a bad coil. If I floor it, it goes away, so it's just at cruising speeds. I checked codes for a bad coil but it does not show any. changed the fuel filter and no luck.
My thoughts ar that maybe there is a tranny sensor that may be going bad??
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Andy
Sounds like another misfire.
Misfires in the Superduty don't usually throw a code. You need to read the misfire counters to find out which exact cylinder it is.
