We just put in a 2" lift in my buddies dodge. It went in nice and easy. The truck looks much better. Anyways, I was thinking, could it be this easy for my truck as well? I'd like to possibly do a 2" lift with the stock wheels and 33"s if possible. Would they fit? And what kind of lifts are available? I'm looking to keep the stock ride. Thanks everyone!
It's 4x4 but I don't really want to stuff them.I figure 33's on it now would look a bit cramped and I'd like to lift the truck up a bit more as well. I would like atleast 33" tires. I figured with that size I wont loose much when towing, and it'll give it a nice look.

If you have the 3:55 rear end you will definately feel a power loss and will affect towing through hills and mountains.
Hmm thats ashame. I think the longest flat road I tow on normally is about a mile long lol. 285's are about 33" tires, correct? Also how could I tell what rear end is in the truck?
285's fit just fine on these trucks and look great.
not to hijack, but i currently have 265/70R17's on my truck....
are you saying 285/70R17's will fit without hitting anything on the truck?

An AT tire will be 33+...where as a P-metric will be 32+ in the 285 tire.
There should be a tag attached to the pumpkin with a number on there.....take a look and tell us what the number is so we can decode it.
