Yes, it never seems to end. Mid november and 100 degree winds blowing out of the East at 40 mph at 5% relative humidity.
I'm in San Diego and last year we had it here (among other places) and three years ago as well. Unbelievable!
But the wind is shifting back around (which, despite our human "can do" attitude, is the ONLY thing that will stop these fires) so hopefully things will settle down in a few days.
A lot of you good folks stood by me last year when the fires came thru my neighborhood. It was 10 days of hell. These fires are north of us and they are really big.
Prayers for those north of us and we hope the weather settles down so San Diego doesn't turn into another mess.
Thanks guys. Im the city north of the fires but have club members who live in the areas and they are safe. Very strange to see all the freeways shut down.
Let's hope the weather gives the folks that are trying to get a handle on this a bit of a break. Humidity levels have been in the single digits, and it's unusually hot for this time of year - even for here.
Hey guys I live in La Verne so I smell and see the OC fires and I had to work saturday morning in North Hollywood so here is a roof top photo of the Sylmar fire.
At Meguiars shop. I can't believe the results using product the right way. I learned a lot. Class started at 8:30 to 2:30. Morning was all power point presentation on the proper way to wash and detail a car to 12. they even got pizza from everyone. Then we took what we learned to a truck paint job. I will post some pics. You can check out the link below for pics from the last time.
