I would like to level the front of my 1990 Ford F-150 4x4. From what I have read it can be done with new coils or spacers, both adding about 1.5" of lift
New Coils sound like the way to. Would I also need to buy parts to get an alignment or would they be able to correct for only 1.5" of lift?
leveling coils will do the job, about 130-140 dollars i think. Check out ntwonline.com to find them, they are a good place. You will need an alignment after.

If you dont order the 2 degree correctors will the Shop that does the Alignment have them? If so is that all you will need... My shop says an alignment will be $79 so how many additional costs will there be?
P.S. i told the guy at the Shop that i put the Coils on and he still said it will be $79 at the Most.
The camber bushings ("correctors") stock, allow for 1 degree of adjustment positive or negative. You can get 2 degree bushings if you need them. The shop should be able to get them, but you might pay more getting from them if you need them. Once you put the coils in, see how much it is out of alignment and then if you need the bushings, compair prices. It won't hurt to drive the truck for a little while until you get the alignment set, but it will wear your tires faster and uneven, so get there as quickly as you can if you want to save as much tread as possible. Driving it for a few days wouldn't hurt. Good luck.
