Came across this article about a car receiving damage from an alleged UFO encounter but the experts are saying it was a deer. Look at the photos of the damage and tell me if you think a deer hitting the car "at an angle" would
create this kind of damage.Bizzare!
Deer makes a whole lot more sense than a UFO! I have seen similar (though not quite as extensive) damage done on a friend of mines vehicle from a deer. No scratches in his paint either.
I was driving down a dark road one night and barely saw the deer that ran up next to my drivers door then turned away at the last second. I only caught the barest of movement out of my left eye that then drew my attention to it. I was shocked that I hadn't seen him coming.
I can easily see if someone was distracted by a cell or other device or even just looking to the right hand side of the road how they'd never see a deer in their peripheral vision.
Besides all that, UFO's are a bunch of horse hooey.
We have a lot of people at work that have had deer hit them, when the damage is that extensive there is blood, so I would think they would be able to find it in the nooks and crannies. A couple of years ago this low life hit and ran a kid, and they laid there and died. He spent two days steam cleaning his truck and they still found blood. BTW if he had of stopped, they'd still be alive, and he wouldn't have been charged, unless he was DUI.
I hit a 13 point buck a few years ago and while pretty nasty hit (I was doing 70 plus on interstate) pushed back entire front end lots of warping, bends, buckles etc but no piant damage. same with bumper and apron or skirt whatever you choose to call it. Fronts of both front doors were bent back in a weird kinda way and no breaks or chips in paint either. So I would say these pics are a deer hit. Let the CSI folks come in and do a DNA type swab. Something will come up from body oild etc somewere. If heat caused it there will be molecular changes in paint. Ijust thing alotta hype over nothing.
Yeah....I tend to agree with you folks on the deer hit but it just seemed
strange hitting a deer could cause that kind of damage along the side of the car.
While Im one of the guys that thinks there may possibly be ufos from elsewhere in the galaxy, the pictures seem to be that of a deer hit, nothing more.
The damage is unusual...that is 6 to 7 foot wide, no higher than 42 inches, no scratches???
Ok, maybe two deer( doe) at 140 pounds each, were both running towrds the side of the car and both slipped on the road, trying a 180 degree turn or a quick stop, and they did a header. No, don't think so..that car metalwork is pushed in very deep...the car wasn't adding to the force of the hit as it was traveling forward...tell me two deer running full speed hit that car exactly at the same time.
One large Elk??? They may have elk there.
Black Bear, but why would a black bear be charging across a road??
Why didn't the person see anything?? I assume the inside rear mirror still working??
Why no fur??? 90 percent of deer strikes I have been in and seen aftermaths of left at least some fur, even 10 little strands here and there.
It is very strange indeed...But I will not speculate about paranormal activity..
The only other explanation would be vandalism
There should be some , possibly microscopic, traces of hair or blood that would surely have been caught into the edges of the damaged areas, especially on the mirror. Smudging of the surface area, even if it was only in the surface dust, would also be present if an animal was struck and caused THAT much damage.
The horizontal crease with none of the afore mentioned residue is what intrests me the most.
I am a retired police officer that worked our local PD's fatal/serious accident unit for five years and, as aftrmidnight states, there are ALWAYS trace residue left behind SOMEWHERE that usually is found if you look long and hard enough.
If that vehicle OR the thing that hit it was moving, the damage will be less severe starting from the direction of initial impact, then become more pronounced as the force of the impact pushes the two objects together.
You really have to have "macro" type photos or see the object in person to be sure.
Ill bet its a DEER from another alternate universe, and since the deer wasnt completely in our universe, that explains the damage! Ive seen a lot of dead deer along the side of the road over the years, and those that hadnt been hit repeatedly, often times looked as if they were sleeping, with little or no blood visible.
I took another look at the car, doors were kicked in, car was sitting still, ignition was not on. Also the person that kicked the doors in was most likely left handed.
