replacing ball joints
Lower ball joints on a 96 Explorer AWD. Is this straightforward type of job? Do I need to pull the spindle nut and the assembly it holds on? Anyplace to get good instructions? I can't get the ball joint out of the lower control arm even though I have it loose, just can't get it clear, can't seperate the control arm and brake assembly enough.
