Question M/T Classic II Wheels, Will They rub?

I just bought a set of Mickey Thompson Classic II Wheels 17x9 and 35x12.50-17 Cooper Discoverer STT Tires. I am wondering if these will rub on my leaf pack? Should I just get wheel spacers up front? My tire guy told me that everything rubs without spacers. True? Here are the specs, thx

5" backspacing and 0 offset is (i think) what the new trucks run, and they are much more "set in" than a 4.5" backspacing with 12 or even 18mm of offset. Mine (4.5/18mm do not rub the springs at all, and are 35"s.

Everything does not rub on the leaf pack.

A 35/12.50 on a 10" wide wheel with 4.5" Back Space doesn't touch the leaf pack.

I know a 37/13.50 on a 9" wide with 5" of Back Space does rub on the leaf springs.....can't remember if a 35/12.50 will or not. If it does, it won't be by much.

Thanks DCSpecial, just don't want to have to take the wheels off to put spacers on but sounds like they should be fine.

Even the ones that bolt to the hub and then bolt to the wheel?

I've read that spacers are a bad idea also. If you think about it that less stud for the lug to grab onto. That could be bad pizza...

I have no experience with them.

I know a lot of SD guys who have bought from wheeladapter.com though.

Any issue with wearing out balljoints or safety if only the 1/4" is used?

Anything that moves the WMS surface outward increases the strain and wear on front end parts.
Not a huge amount, but some.

Not sure about something as small as 1/4", since it's not acutally bolted to the hub with it's own set of lug nuts.

Personally, I'd mount the tires and wheels and see if they rub before you buy anything.
