Are you sure the Escape has that system?

I'm thinking the Escape/Mariner/Tribute triplets got all that at the time the Mariner was introduced during Job 2 of the 04 or 05 model year. In any case, when the Mariner was introduced. Much better than what they were using. Essentially makes the E/M/T AWD, not a 4 X 4.
