Would it be more efficient to get the seats reupholstered or just replace the seat entirely with someone who's parting an excursion? It's a 2004, with the 2 tone leather, but there's a couple sizable tears in the drivers seat. What would hte cost to reupholster the seat, anyone have experience with that? Thanks.

It would depend on the upholster shops in your area and what they charge and how good of work they do. Call a few of them up and get some prices and even stop by and see what kind of work they do.
I would recommend taking a look at Katzskins. I had the interior of my H1 completely redone and the quality, fit, and finsih is top notch. I am working on figuring out what color combination I am going to redo the interior of the ex with right now.
David from katzkins were suppose to get back to me for like 3-4 months and he finally did, so I called the local shop and I got a estimate of $750 with $300 deposit. Sounds good to me so that will be the route I will go.
Oh no, I wish, its just the 2 fronts... I was quoted a Grand already for just the 2 fronts... I'll get the others done later but the drivers seat is the one that is cracking.
All three rows? Door pannels? Carpet? Spare tire cover?
I wanted to retain a somewhat factory look and just add a bit of a personal touch in addition to getting rid of the factory leather. that price is for 1rst, 2nd, and 3rd row only. I like the interior color scheme and the rest of the truck is in great shape so I didn't need to do door panels and carpet.

Thats a problem I noticed, buying used especialy, people dont treat or care for there leather properly so it doesnt take long to get into poor shape.

Holy smokes, that's pretty steep. you might give Kyle a call and talk to him about just shipping the new covers to you. I have heard they aren't taht hard to install and for about the same money you might have all the interior seating surfaces brand new!
pdxo2, that looks really good, but man those are some huge head rests! Are they like that in all the H1's?
I suppose they make them big and really cushy so when you are putting it through it's paces the occupants are completely protected. i will tell you I have had a few times off the beaten path that I have been glad to have them. It's my understanding that the H1's that are 2001 and newer all have the same seats. Mine is a 2004 and my dad has a 2006 Alpha and it has the same seats and headrests in it.
