top swap

i have a 90 bronco can i switch the intake to a mustang style?

what motor? if its a 5.0 to 5.0 then yes but you must get both the upper & lower from the mustang as the lowers are different between the bronco and mustang motors. you will also need to flip the upper so the throttlebody is facing the driverside fender. you will also need to do some searching on here and on FSB.com so you get the proper throttle linkage brackets so stuff doesnt bind up. have you done anything else to this setup yet? if the exhaust is still stock i would go there before changing the intake otherwise you wont see much gain from the swap.

May I ask exactly what purpose this serves? The long runners in the truck intake are much better for developing low end torque than the Mustang intake. That's why the truck intake is made the way it is. So I guess I'm a little confused as to what advantage there could be other than gaining space between the top of the engine and the bottom of the hood.
