Just bought a '99 7.3 350 4x4 with about 220,000 miles; no service records available. I will be very dependent on this truck for plowing and my concrete biz. Not knowing how the truck was maintained before, I am looking for suggestions on how to stack the deck in my favor. A) What would be the essential things you would suggest doing first? Oil (obviously); any thoughts on synthetic vs. dino oil? Filter brand? other fluid/filter brands, weights, etc. Should I automatically flush the tranny (it's an automatic). Fuel additives (BG, Sea Foam, etc?). And what about packing bearings, and any other preventative measures? Thanks to anyone who has the time to chime in
