So with my 37's my Speedometer is about 10mph off.
I used the search button to read about it and it seems I need different teeth on my speedo cable? I'm totally clueless. How much does it cost to correct my speedometer or how could I do it myself?
And if anyone can tell me if I can get a gauge cluster to fit my truck (88 F-350) with another mileage digit so that it doesn't roll over at 100k. And a price for this?
Just thought i'd ask in the Off-Road forum because you all have probably had this issue upgrading tires.
And until then I suppose i'll just go 10mph under the speed limit, but I would like to correct this.
Stock Tires - 265x75x16
Current Tires - 37x12.5x16
I'm probably going to end up re-gearing but not for awhile. The 37's are pretty nice with 4.10's. It would probably suck if I had overdrive, but its just a three speed and it seems to even things out.
