question about stabalizer bar link

I have a 1988 F-150 4X4. I was rolling around under the truck today and just happened to notice that one of my stabilizer bar links is bent. the link on the driver side is straight but the one on the passenger side is bent out toward the back. I have never noticed this before (but then I have never looked) I don't recall hitting anything that would have bent this. The truck has factory four wheel drive suspension.

my question is, is one of theese supost to be bent or should they both be straight?

question about stabalizer bar link

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Aug-02 AT 02:31 AM (EST)]If your talking about the end link that bolts the stablizer to the axle(or control arm), they should both be straight. You can go to your local parts house and get a new "end link kit" for like $10 to $20. Hope this is the info you were looking for.

question about stabalizer bar link

I believe that you are right that they should both be straight. just to clarify though, the rods I am refering to areon the ends of the stabalizer bar. they are right there behind the leaf springs and near the shocks. One end of the rod is conected to the frame rail and the other end is conected to the stabalizer bar itself and has two peices of rubber to cushion it on either side of the stabalizer bar connection.
