I don't have a location suggestion for you. I guess there are so many suitable locations that it doesn't really matter too much. I've seen great photos taken on an empty stretch of road.

What I would suggest is work with someone with great Photoshop skills - if you don't have the skill yourself. They can make a stock yard look good.

El Dorado Park, the same location as the November GTG.

JMO: Taking pictures of vehicles with buildings, ships, other man made objects in the background takes the eye away from the subject.

I prefer nature as a background when taking pics of vehicles. Less distractions.

Well placed ornaments should solve that issue. Er, hung with care.

How about the view point south of the weigh station on the I-5 on Camp Pendleton?? That's got a great view of Catalina and San Clemente on a clear day

Getting my old girl down there and back would be a real trick. Geared way too low for freeway use. Now Steves 56 is another matter. El Dorado park will be great.

1954 Ford F100--Christmas wreath made of at least 300 antique ornaments. The shoot went well, and we are putting the cards together now. See you at the picnic, i hope. Sorry it took me so long to reply.
