Drag Truck front end
I'm in the process of converting a 1979 F100 for street/strip use and wonder if anyone out there has any experience with converting I-Beam suspension to A-arm (mustang II type) style. I know there are kits offered by several companies for $2000 plus but I was thinking more allong the line of using salvage yard parts to keep costs down. Any suggestions welcome. Thx

From everything I have read(I have a '71 that I want to do that to). From what I have read it ends up being about he same price to get the KIT. That is mainly becuase the M II front end has to be widened. The M II A-arms are fairly weak also and must use the supports.
