351w dipstick

I'm looking for a reasonably priced dipstick tube that screws in the oil pan. All I can find aftermarket is the press in style.

Have you tried Ford? I got one for my '85 motor earlier this year.

They have one local in stock, cant remember what they quoted me but it was too much

They quoted me around $50 for just the dipstick tube. The problem was I needed everything. I went to the junk yard and got the dipstick tube, oil pan and pickup tube for the same price.

I went ahead and got it from Ford, now I need to get the rest of the old one out... it rusted in half.

Keep your eye open at swap meets and you will find a good deal on a lokar braided steel dipstick. I bought mine from lordco then discovered one for half price a month later at a car show.
