fuel pump question
yes i know that there are alot of threads on fuel pumps, and i have searched threw them for a couple days and cant seem to find my answer. i have a 1990 f150 with a 302, 5 speed, short box, single cab, with 1 tank. the problem is that the fuel pump is not coming on wen i turn the key to run. one day wen i was 4x4in i stopped on a hill to look and see if i could get over sumthin, wen i got back in my truck and started it, it wouldnt start and wouldnt make the fuel pump noise. i backed down the hill with the truck off to meet my buds and wen i got to the bottom it started rite up. then it ran good for a couple days then on my way to work it died a block from my house, i left it there over night, then the next day i started it and it started rite up and made it back to my house. now it hasnt started since. i have replaced fuel pump, fuel pump relay, and have bypassed the inertia switch with no luck. i can hear the relay clicking wen the key is turned but no fuel pump noise. i am going out to get a voltmeter and would like somewons input, if they have any, on what might be wrong.
