35's rubbing
Hi everyone,
I have a '78 F150 4*4 with a four inch lift. I put on a set of 35-12.50/15's on standard white steel 8" spoke rims. When I turn sharply like on a switch back or something the tire hits the radius arm. If I don't turn to the point where it hits the turning radius is huge, so I don't want to have to adjust the stops. Has anyone encountered this problem and what did you do to resolve it? It is a major impediment on the trail. Thanks for any advice.

First thing you're gonna have to do is either change wheels or get some spacers to move the wheels out a little bit. You need to change the backspacing to get a little more room. Makes me wish somebody made a 35X10.50 or 11.50 - 15.

any 15 x 10 inch wheel should have the back spaceing you need. i think its like 2 1/2 inches or something.
