I have a 06 F150 4x4, I have the chrome package on the truck so I have 18" factory chrome wheels, I was wondering how many of you have had the problems of the brake dust sticking to the rim and having to scrub the crap out of them every week. It is getting a little old to me, so i was wondering if anyone knew what i could do to stop this, hope someone can help me out, Thnaks.
there is a product out there called wheel wax...i have been told it works...keeps em shiny and apparently repels the dust. Might wanna research it, sorry but dont have personal experience with it. (Just ignoring the dust now)

save all your hassle and heartache and just change out the brake pads. If you don't know how, ask a friend or family member that does to show you how so you can save money by doing it yourself. I changed my front pads way back when my 04 truck was brand new (500 miles) and never looked back. search this forum to see what kind of pads people are using. I love my Porterfield carbon kevlar pads, I got them from an Ebay seller.
i really dont get alot of brake dust on my rims. I can go 2 weeks before they are looking pretty dirt. Then again, when i wash my truck i spray the hell out of the rotors and pads too
