I traded a 2000 Limited V10 with 93K which I bought new in 6/2000 for my 03 Eddie Bauer 7.3l in 5/2005. It had 23K miles, now at 80K mostly driving on weekends. No issues at all with the V10. Have replaced alternator twice on the PSD. Overall both have served me well and plan on keeping the 03 for many years to come.
Well, we drive our 03 alot and we now have 206,000 miles. This year we have hit 30 states and crossed the country coast to coast three times. I'll have to post some pictures of the hour meter that we have on our GPS with the driving time, idle time, and total times; it's pretty depressing. All of our driving is pulling a trailer, usually a 10' box trailer but now we have a new toy hauler. She keeps on running great, no major problems; just the routine maintnence every 5,000 miles with royal purple.
2000 XLT, 135 and some change. Love our truck. Lets see have a MAC high flow filter, dual exhaust. Nerf bars, ATS large tranny pan, 08 diff cover. A cool twin scoop hood that was on it when we bought it. Other than the normal ball joint and oil change, it has been a great truck! I would love to get another one.
