Flywheel Problem
What are some symptoms or noises you might hear while starting if you have a bad flywheel? When i start my truck in the morning it does fine. But throughout the day after that first start i get a loud clang. I'm not sure what i can do to find out what is causing this noise. Any ideas???
Also, does anyone have a good vacuum diagram for a 78 Ford Truck with a 351m / C-6 tranny?

Could be a number of things: loose starter, loose or damaged torque converter or flex plate to crank bolts, slotted bolt holes ,loose or damaged ring gear ,bad transmission input shaft or bearing, just to name a few.
