Head injuries from motorcycle accidents really can mess you up. Back in high school we had a guy who had a serious fall from a dirt bike, and when he recovered, not the same fella at all. Amnesia and strangeness were an every day occurrence, told one of the hottest girls to f-off because she asked him for the time. Lunch was my favorite time of the day because he would bring in the strangest lunches imaginable. Once I had to ask what was in the big chunk of foil sitting on top of the table...he smiled and showed me what looked like a rabbit or something, found out it was a freshly cooked squirrel!! Oh ya, he made a type of moon shine from his locker as well....we nicknamed him dough-head...he didn't seem to mind.
The first movie I remember seeing Busey in was Big Wednesday- a surfer movie. Big Wednesday (1978)
He was a strange guy even then. I also remember him from the first Lethal Weapon seems he's playing the bad guy a lot more often. That Youtube clip shows that he is capable of poking a little fun at himself, though. He's been around for a very long time- even had a spot in the original Kung Fu series (one episode, I think).
He's typical of the Hollywood Story, though. Too much success, too fast, without any guidance or responsibility. You gotta feel a little sorry for guys like that. I don't care how much money you have, alcoholics/ drug addicts either get help or they die- usually broke and alone.
