Post Lift ???

Have a couple of questions...

What does everone do with their TTB (Dana 50) after swaping to a straight front. Is is possible to recoupe any money by selling them, or maybe a core charge back from Ford?

I also would like to know where the extra lift comes from when swaping over to a Dana 60. I have been told that I will gain 2 inches after the swap. I also intend to install an ORO reverse shackel (another 2in). I wanted a overall lift of 4in (6in max) and also wanted to go with Skyjacker Leaf spings all the way around, but it looks like I would gain at least 8in of lift if I did all of the above.

I would also like to hear opinions on gears.... I was planning on 410s as I am on the freeway alot and tow very little (35s on 97 F250HD Crew 4x4).

Thanx
John

4.10s are what you want, and you can try to sell the TTB. There is a demand for it if someone wants a 4x4 conversion. You can start with the classifieds link on the right.

Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds .

That's it for mods now, saving for a Stang. Check out my Gallery for a look-see.
