Light in speedo

Light in speedo
Ok so i was driving my 06 SD tonight and noticed that part of my speedo is darker than the other half the darker half is from about 65-100 this is gonna drive me crazy as i do alot of night driving with it...
Is there 2 light behind the speedo maybe one burnt out? also how hard is it to change it and how do i go abouts doing it?

sounds like a burnt out light all right. years past you could take the panel off from under the steer wheel (the access panel) and then with a flashlight you could get up there. Not sure about the newer ones as I have not had any issues,

Disregard the info of needing to upload the cluster configuration into a diagnostic tool. This is only needed if you are replacing the whole cluster with a new one.

They are a pain to replace - I have one out in my tach and it annoys me. I think when I pull the cluster to replace the bulb, I'm going to replace them all so that I never have this problem again while I own the truck - hopefully.
