FYI: The BBB is just as useless as Recons CS. I called the BBB when i had issues with my local stealership and they basically told me that they cannot enforce or hold any company to uphold their standards. That they are just "guidelines" for how a company should be ran. They will "fill out a report" about the company that is viewable on the BBB website. And the company COULD lose their BBB affiliation IF enough negative reports are submitted. But losing their BBB affiliation has NO EFFECT on the business as a business.
I was trying to get them to replace my LED dome light set since one of the bulb replacements didn't work right. Every attempt at making a connection with them went unanswered.
Well low and behold I finally got a reply from Ryan Quinn at Recon. He said he's got one shipping to me today via FedEx. I think I'll prolly just put it on eBay and continue using my stock (custom tinted) 3rd brake light.
Dunno. Maybe it was the BBB complaint. I know that the BBB doesn't have any authority over a company, however any smart shopper who sees an F rating for a company should steer clear of them.

Hey whats up. Did you ask to speak with Heath? Glad you got it sorted out. Boy, it seems everyone jumps on the bandwagon once some one mentions something negative about a conpany. Glad i dont work for any of you guys.

No, Ryan replied to my email this morning. It's not really jumping on the bandwagon when we've all had crappy customer service.
Ok. Seems all is well now. Heath, the owner of the company, just called me to apologize for the whole ordeal. Said he was getting bombarded with a lot of phone calls and emails today from people who apparently saw this thread. He admitted to his company having an issue with some employees who were sub-par in the past and that those individuals have been removed and they are working to repair their reputation. He was very nice and apologetic. He gave me his personal cell phone to call if I or anyone has any issues to call him direct and he will bend over backwards to get it right. So if anyone still has any issues with their product PM me and I will get you his #.
I kinda feel like a jerk now but oh well they have made it right finally.
AFTER I sent them the link to THIS THREAD.....and the 4 other ones I have running on Recon's BS customer service.
10 days and 3 email attempts to contact them, told them I was gonna call and I got the first email from Ryan and the other clown Todd.....not trying to solve the problem, trying to pawn it off and sell me other parts.
Plain and simple, they don't give a crap about you until YOU start hitting THEM in the wallet.
Their products are cheap, poorly constructed and their customer service is some of the worst I've dealt with.
I have YET to have or deal with a Recon product that has not either been poorly constructed and failed or has had other issues (i.e. LED's burning out after 2 days, lens covers discoloring, wiring being poorly connected, etc.)
Never again will I recommend or endorse one of their products.
If you had a good experience with their products, I'm truly happy for you, because if it has a problem, you are pretty much screwed until you jump through hoops and hit them in the wallet.

I wondering what connection you have with Recon.
Going through your posts, of the 100 you have, 95+ of them are in regards to loving Recon Accessories and how wonderful they are.
Well I must say that I have had nothing but very good service from them, I have the smoked cab lights and mirror lights, look and fit great. While installing one of the mirror light I pinched a wire and the light went out after a couple of weeks, emailed Recon and they sent me a "whole new set" not just one signal light---and they paid for shipping. Didn't even have to send the old part back, no questions asked or anything, I think it was GREAT SERVICE and I have since recommened them to many many people and nobody I know has had bad service either.
