2 Optimas on one side.....

I saw in a recent thread where someone mentioned that they thought it would be possible to put both batteries on one side (passenger I believe) and they thought there was a thread about it somewhere but they weren't sure. I did some searching and couldn't find anything where someone did anything similar to this. Does anyone know if its possible, or maybe have a link to a thread where someone did it?

I looked for it also and came up empty. It really shhouldn't be too hard to do, with a little fabrication. You'd have to make a holder for both batteries and re route the wiring for them. Or make new cables up.

From what I have read in a post from 2004, someone put 2 of 'em on the driver side with #2 being on a new hold-down near the air filter. The thread contains no pics, the link to 'em are dead. No further info contained therein.

Grab a meazurin stick and get 'er done!

Just fabed the other Optima mount to the old battery box on the passengers side. From what I can tell, it would be a hard squeeze to get both on that side, but there is much more room on the drivers side once you take out the old battery and filter box.
