Take a look at how the Ranch Hand brackets are made. There is a angled bracket that goes under the bumper and a plate that goes behind the bumper.

Maybe someone has a picture of this. I used to have a Ranch Hand but don't have any pictures of the brackets.

This is the type of grille gaurd I am talking about. There is a bracket that goes throught the air dam right next to the fog light. Your F250 doesn't have the air dam so you won't have to deal with that.

The plate actually mounted behind the bumper to the bumper bolts and the bolts going through the bumper on the outside edge of the upright push bars mounted to the plate as well as the angled bracket. I don't know if you can see them in the picture or not, but they are there. I think if I remember right is was something like 8x10 or so. Does that make any sense?
